Daily Journal December 25, 1997, By William Thomas Thompson. Christmas This Thursday morning is special because it is Christmas. This is a time when all matters seem to be resolved. The nation stops and seemingly the world also stops and inventory it. This is a family time as everyday should be. Christmas is a time of gift giving and forgiving. The message is deep and wide. It is a message handed down through history of the love of God and the gift to the world of God sending His Son Jesus to the earth for a very special purpose and that was to save us from sin that we may have eternal life. The full Bible is history, our only history and I believe it to be the divine Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. I urge the entire world to believe in God. John 3-16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son" Through the years man has invented substitutes for the true God and especially the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is lots of likeness but to know the Savior is the real thing. There is no substitute. There is only one God, let all know Him. (Only begotten Son) "That whosoever believeth in Him should not" We are a Santa clause society with an ever growing appetite for the expanding economy. We are hungry for riches. The church of today is profitable like a business so we (they) build larger and larger buildings, one group here targets families with good income to be members of their church and they carry on in man made fashion to please man. There is no real principal other than to be a gluten church or so called church of these sure last evil days. "Perish, but have everlasting life." Dear Lord, may we believe. Today is quite and peaceful. There is no rush. It seems like Sunday but there is no church. I will visit the home at 4 P.M. where I was born and where my mother still lives, she is in great health and delights in having her family all visit together. This is home, this is Christmas. This is life. This is hope. This is love. This is charity. This is the beginning of right........17 "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world" I have embarked on a journey, the road is narrow. The way is hard. I am alone to my eternal destiny. I know the way. I see the way. I am committed to follow God in all matters and to paint the Word of God with my hands and with my life. May I have the courage to manifest the love of God to a lost world of people in need of the great knowledge and understanding of almighty God in Heaven? "But that the world through Him might be saved.18-He that believes" My journey is long and I pass by so many people that are void of understanding. I want to tell them how to be happy but I speak a different language in spirit. They never see me. They never hear me. I am invisible. I must do well in secret. I must not talk or walk in their way. I am silent. My lips are sewed together. I must pass by on a cloud high in the sky or underground so they will not notice, let the evil be evil still. Save the world I pray “veth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned." Did Jesus come in vain? Do we serve him or is it a social order we serve? Do we love our neighbor? Love everyone! Do we really serve God or man? Do we show respect for those in command? Come and join me in this life of travel into the future with almighty God. Down to brush my teeth and use a clean bathroom before I can continue. I also stopped next door where real folk art is on display and being made by Richard who has Gilliun Barre the same as me, his hands look like mine. Richard cuts out all types of figures like animals and silhouettes of people. Richard wants very much to share in the art at the Fort. For the night I go to Daytona Beach where I stay at Red Carpet Inn on the beach.
